Akzo Nobel Technology & Engineering is organizing its first external edition of the Manufacturing Workshop 2008 on October 6 & 7. Goal of the workshop is starting a discussion about the preservation of the Dutch process industry. More and more activities of the process industry are transferred to or contracted out towards low-cost countries, increasing the risk of disappearance of the knowledge about these processes.
