Our Materials Technology experts at Arnhem in the Netherlands and New York in the USA assist engineers and maintenance managers in reducing maintenance costs and increasing manufacturing uptime. We do this by applying our extensive knowledge of construction materials such as metals, plastics and ceramics, as well as our expertise in materials engineering, corrosion prevention and various advanced inspection techniques, including Risk-Based Inspection (RBI).
Using advanced in-house testing facilities, we support customers with research and investigation of materials. We also support Engineering and Purchasing departments with materials engineering and vendor inspection, as well as Manufacturing and Technology departments with plant inspection, failure analysis, improvement projects, safety issues, and predictive maintenance.
Other key activities include:
- keeping our know-how and expertise up to date through various networks, including membership of the Materials Technology Institute
- translating new developments into practical applications
- knowledge sharing through seminars and workshops.
